Toledo School District Calendar 2026-2027

Toledo School District serves about eight hundred students in the Cowlitz River Valley, where forested hills, prairies and river recreation surround the town. Most children move through Toledo Elementary, Toledo Middle and Toledo High, keeping one local school community while classrooms become more specialized. The district’s familiar graduation phrase—employed, enlisted or enrolled—gives that K–12 route a practical horizon.

Connections across ages make the progression visible long before a child reaches middle school. Toledo High drama students and cheerleaders visit the elementary school’s Second Grade Safari, and younger pupils practice computer skills while meeting older students who already represent later stages of district life. Middle- and high-school athletics run through three seasons, with esports available at the high-school level. Free meals in every district building give the three physical schools and Cowlitz Prairie Academy a common layer of daily support.

Cowlitz Prairie Academy provides a web-based K–12 route with individualized scheduling and state-certified teachers. It serves families who need a different balance of time and place while retaining Toledo’s public-school curriculum and graduation expectations. A student can grow through the three physical schools or build a flexible academy plan; both paths remain tied to the same valley community and the same expectation of a concrete next step after graduation.
