South Bend School District Calendar 2026-2027

South Bend School District sits beside the Willapa River in a small Pacific County community shaped by forestry, fishing, oyster production and county government. Chauncey Davis Elementary serves children through sixth grade, and South Bend Junior/Senior High School serves grades seven through twelve. Students spend long stretches in two school communities, then share one secondary campus through graduation.

Applied courses reflect both traditional and changing local work. Woodshop and construction develop design, measurement and fabrication skills, while coding, video, digital art and yearbook production connect students to media and technology. In a small junior/senior high school, teachers often work across several grades, so younger students encounter the equipment, performances and student leadership of the high-school years before they begin earning credits.
