Oakville School District #400 Calendar 2026-2027

Oakville School District serves the town of Oakville and nearby rural areas from one preschool-through-twelfth-grade campus. Preschool and grades K–5 occupy the elementary side, while grades 6–12 form the middle/high school. About 350 students share the Acorn identity, and performances, athletics, family events and daily services make the campus one of the community's main public centers.

More than one-third of students are Native American, and the district maintains close working relationships with the Confederated Tribes of the Chehalis Reservation. Its student-opportunity plan calls for regular meetings with the Tribe's TAG team, a student-sponsored Cultural Week and expanding Spanish translation for Latinx families. These relationships place tribal and multilingual family participation inside ordinary district planning.

Community service is also built into the high-school years: required hours rise from five in ninth grade to twenty-five in twelfth. Music runs from preschool through grade twelve, and woodshop, construction and other CTE courses give older students technical roles on the same campus where they began school. Oakville's small scale creates continuity, while tribal partnership, cultural events, service and hands-on courses prevent that continuity from becoming inward-looking.
