Evergreen Public Schools Calendar 2026-2027

Evergreen Public Schools is the large east Vancouver district, serving about 22,000 students in thirty-eight schools across a part of Clark County that has grown from suburban neighborhoods into a much denser and more varied community. Its twenty-two elementary schools and six middle schools anchor local attendance areas, while Evergreen, Heritage, Mountain View and Union high schools give different parts of the district their own comprehensive secondary identity. For many families, school life is closely tied to the neighborhood; districtwide arts, athletics and specialized programs create connections across that large map.

Language and culture are everyday parts of Evergreen’s work. Multilingual learners are served throughout the system, and dual-language instruction gives students the chance to develop academic skill in more than one language. Band, choir, orchestra and theater remain important parts of school life, supported alongside highly capable services, special education and transportation through local levy funding.

Career education is another districtwide strength. Students can enter pathways in agriculture, business, computer science, digital arts, architecture and construction, engineering and manufacturing, medical science, American Sign Language, early childhood education and culinary arts. Cascadia Technical Academy adds regional training through a cooperative that serves ten Southwest Washington districts and is expanding into satellite locations. Evergreen’s size can feel complex, yet it also gives students room to move from a neighborhood school into specialized language, arts, technical or college-connected experiences without leaving the public system that serves east Vancouver.
