63. Everett Public Schools
Everett Public Schools stretches from established neighborhoods in the city of Everett into the rapidly growing communities around Mill Creek and the southern edge of the district. Students move from eighteen elementary campuses through five middle schools toward three comprehensive high schools—Everett, Cascade and Henry M. Jackson. Each high school has its own traditions, activities and feeder community, while districtwide programs link students across a system large enough to sustain deep academic, arts and career offerings.
The range begins early. Preschool and elementary programs emphasize play, language, literacy, mathematics and social-emotional development, and the district’s music and performance culture grows through choirs, orchestras, theater and visual arts.
Upper-grade schedules may include AP courses, university-credit classes taught on campus, articulated technical credit and Running Start. Science and engineering competitions, advanced learning and International Baccalaureate or dual-language pathways add further options at selected schools. Everett Career Link joins the district with the City of Everett, Snohomish STEM and regional employers so students can experience a workplace and earn high-school credit. Sno-Isle TECH expands access to specialized career training.
Sequoia High School and Port Gardner provide smaller or home-centered routes for students whose needs do not fit a conventional daily campus schedule. They sit within a district whose central strength is breadth: several distinct neighborhood identities share regional connections to college, industry, the arts and public life.
