Granite Falls School District Calendar 2026-2027

Granite Falls schools sit at the base of Mount Pilchuck, serving a foothill community where outdoor recreation, small-town life and commuting families overlap. Mountain Way and Monte Cristo divide the elementary years, followed by Granite Falls Middle School and Granite Falls High School. The district also reaches beyond the city boundary into nearby rural areas, so school events and transportation draw together families who may experience the same community from very different roads.

The high school is small—about 470 students—but functions as a full comprehensive school. College in the High School, Running Start and career and technical education widen the academic program. Students move from career exploration into agricultural science, marketing, family and consumer studies, health careers and technical trades. School life is broader than the course catalog. The district reports hundreds of student athletes, nearly two hundred musicians, actors and artists, more than fifteen clubs and a busy calendar of family and community events. Crossroads High School supplies a smaller setting for students needing flexible pacing or credit recovery, while the neighborhood route remains the center of the system. Granite Falls combines the intimacy of a foothill district with enough arts, athletics, college credit and technical learning to give students several credible ways to leave the valley prepared for what comes next.
