Walla Walla Public Schools Calendar 2027-2028

Walla Walla Public Schools begins its relationship with some families before kindergarten through the Center for Children and Families. The district then operates five elementary schools, two middle schools, Walla Walla High School, Lincoln High School and several flexible programs. Agriculture, health care, higher education, wine production and long-established Latino communities all enter the life of this regional center.

Spanish-English dual immersion has two elementary entry points, Edison and Green Park, and continues through Garrison or Pioneer Middle School. The pathway is distributed through the ordinary school network, allowing bilingual learning to survive school transitions without becoming a single isolated campus. Migrant education adds home visits, tutoring, health coordination, college exposure and family involvement for students whose schooling may be disrupted by mobility.

Older students can add SEATech to the day for concentrated career programs while keeping their home-high-school enrollment. Walla Walla Online, Opportunity and Homelink organize learning in other ways. The district’s breadth is visible from early childhood through secondary training, yet language continuity provides one of its clearest threads: a child can enter through bilingual elementary instruction, carry academic Spanish into middle school and reach graduation with formal biliteracy and local family knowledge intact.
