Raymond School District Calendar 2026-2027

Raymond's schools stand near the Willapa River in a town shaped by timber, port activity and the surrounding wetlands. Raymond Elementary serves transitional kindergarten through sixth grade, and Raymond Junior/Senior High School receives students for grades seven through twelve. The two-school path keeps children within one Seagull community while the school day changes from elementary classrooms to subject courses, credits and graduation planning.

Family support is visible in practical details. The district provides elementary school supplies, offers language assistance in Spanish and connects graduates with scholarships through the Raymond Schools Foundation. In a small community, those services reduce everyday barriers and keep local organizations involved in a student's progress long after a child first enters school.

Raymond's small school structure allows arts and vocational roles to span several grade levels. One teacher leads junior-high and high-school art as well as K–12 music, while separate vocational teachers lead family and consumer science and technology-and-industry courses. Performances, shop projects and student-made work can involve children who have known the same Seagull community since elementary school, even as older students take on more specialized responsibilities.

ABC Online Academy adds a statewide grades 7–12 option for the 2026–27 school year. Its remote students follow a different daily schedule from the children at the Commercial Street schools. Raymond's local families still move through the elementary and junior/senior high sequence; the online academy expands the district's reach without replacing that community route.
