Pe Ell School District Calendar 2026-2027

Pe Ell keeps the full school journey inside one building in a western Lewis County town long connected to timber. Transitional kindergarteners, middle-school students and seniors enter the same Second Street campus, then use different classrooms, teachers and schedules as they grow. Music, athletics and town events cross those age divisions, and the Pe Ell-Willapa Valley sports partnership gives older students a larger regional team community.

The secondary program contains several ways to make work public. Business and technology courses include accounting, graphic design, information technology and web design, with some college-credit connections. FBLA, SkillsUSA, esports, art and music let students present, compete and organize beyond a conventional small-school timetable. A teenager may create a digital design, perform with younger students nearby and travel to an athletic event under a combined regional identity during the same week.

The school itself is undergoing a long-planned modernization. The original building dates to 1952, and district documents describe grant, local and state funding for roofs, classrooms, utilities, safety and other improvements. Construction bid documents were issued in 2025, while facility information in 2026 continued to separate completed repairs from broader modernization work. Classes remain in the existing K–12 school as the project moves forward around them.
