Pasco School District Calendar 2026-2027

Pasco's school system has expanded with one of Washington's fastest-growing and most multilingual communities. Seventeen elementary schools feed four middle schools and a high-school network that now includes Pasco, Chiawana and Sageview as comprehensive campuses, along with Delta, New Horizons, Orion and digital options serving different needs. Sageview opened in fall 2025, giving the city's northern growth area its own high-school community and relieving pressure on the older campuses.

Spanish-English dual language begins in kindergarten and continues through middle and high school. Nearly all elementary schools participate, while Three Rivers Elementary also offers Russian-English dual language. The model treats bilingualism as a long course of study that can continue across several school stages. Migrant education works across the district for children whose families move for agriculture, fishing or food-processing employment, helping records, instruction and family services follow the student.

Pasco's scale allows students from different high schools to work together on projects visible across the city. In 2026, students from Pasco, Chiawana and Sageview completed the twenty-sixth Team Pasco House, taking a home from foundation to dedication through the district's construction program. The Teaching Academy is developing another local workforce: bilingual students can gain classroom experience while considering a career in education.

A Pasco family may enter the district through a neighborhood school, a dual-language classroom or a move connected to seasonal work. By high school, that student can belong to a large comprehensive campus and still collaborate across the city on a house, a teaching placement or another career project.
