Liberty School District No. 362 Calendar 2026-2027

Six Palouse communities send their children toward Liberty’s central campus near Spangle. Across hundreds of square miles, rural roads lead toward schools placed near the geographic center of those communities. Liberty Elementary/Junior High carries students through the younger grades and junior high, and Liberty High School completes the local route. Families from different towns share long bus corridors, one secondary identity and many of the same district events.

Agriculture gives that central campus a strong connection to the land around it. Courses and FFA activities include agronomy, agricultural mechanics, farm business and land judging, turning fields, machinery and rural enterprise into subjects for study. College-credit and regional career opportunities extend the high-school program when students need courses beyond what a small staff can offer. Liberty’s organization reflects an old rural solution that still shapes daily life: six named communities keep their local identities, while their children meet in one school system for academics, athletics, arts and graduation.
