La Conner School District Calendar 2027-2028

The La Conner district boundary joins the town, nearby rural areas and the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community. Its elementary, middle and high schools form a compact sequence, yet the district’s community is broader than the town surrounding the campuses. Students from the Swinomish Reservation move through the same grade progression while also drawing on tribal relationships, advocates and cultural resources that remain present throughout their schooling.

The partnership with the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community is woven into family support and district decision-making. Education Support Advocates work with students at different grade levels, helping families communicate with schools, navigate transitions and plan for graduation. Native education programs, the Native American Parent Advisory Council and consultation connected to federal Impact Aid give the relationship an institutional place.
