Finley School District Calendar 2026-2027

At Finley Elementary’s Ag Day, River View High School FFA members show fourth-graders how familiar foods travel from farms to family tables. The event captures how Finley School District works: one elementary school, one middle school and one high school form a close local route, while agriculture connects age groups and gives learning an immediate place in the community southeast of Kennewick.

River View students continue through agriscience, food science, FFA projects and leadership activities. The district’s commitment to this work earned statewide recognition from the Washington Association of Agricultural Educators. Modern career facilities and courses connect the agricultural base with mechanics, business, family and consumer sciences and other workforce skills. FFA members also participate in fairs, service projects and leadership events, turning a small high school into a visible civic presence.

FCCLA adds another student-led route through family and consumer sciences. GEAR UP, college-credit opportunities and regional partnerships help students consider university, technical training or employment beyond Finley. The district does not need a long list of campuses to create variety. Its educational life grows from the depth of one local feeder: elementary curiosity, middle-grade exploration and a high school where agriculture, career preparation and community service remain closely connected.
