52. East Valley School District No. 361

East Valley No. 361 serves the eastern side of Spokane Valley, including Otis Orchards, Trent and Trentwood. Three neighborhood elementary schools feed East Valley Middle School and East Valley High School, creating a single secondary pathway once students leave elementary school. The area combines established residential communities with access to Spokane-area employers, colleges and technical programs, and the schools use those connections to widen what students can study.

East Farms STEAM Magnet School brings science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics into an application-based elementary setting, while Continuous Curriculum School provides another long-running choice community. In the regular secondary schools, AVID, Advanced Placement, arts, world languages and career and technical education give students several ways to shape a schedule. CTE and college-career events connect families with construction, automotive work, health care, technology and other regional fields; dual credit, NEWTech Skill Center and Spokane Valley Tech extend options beyond the East Valley campus.

East Valley Parent Partnership and East Valley Online serve families who need home-centered or remote learning. They add different attendance patterns without replacing the neighborhood schools used by most students. Younger children can enter specialized STEAM or continuous-curriculum communities, while older students use one comprehensive high school as a base for college credit, technical training and practical career exploration across the Spokane area.
