Crescent School District Calendar 2026-2027

Crescent School District gives the community of Joyce a complete K–12 school on the northern Olympic Peninsula. Children can remain on the same Highway 112 campus from kindergarten through graduation while their daily experience changes from elementary classrooms to subject courses, athletics, arts and college or career planning. The district reports an average class size of about twelve students, allowing a small campus to maintain close academic support without ending the local route after middle school.

Family schedules are supported in practical ways. A free Extended Day program keeps K–5 students on campus until 5 p.m. with homework help, arts and crafts, physical activity and music. The school also serves as a public gathering place during Joyce Daze, alumni events, performances and athletics. District figures report that every graduating senior receives scholarship support, giving the final transition beyond Crescent a strong community-backed foundation.

Olympic Peninsula HomeConnection adds a K–8 public-school option for families who complete substantial learning at home under written plans and certificated oversight. Its students can later enter Crescent’s on-campus high-school program or choose another approved route. The distinction no longer needs to dominate the district portrait. Crescent’s ordinary experience is a full local K–12 education, strengthened by extended-day care, scholarships, community traditions and a campus where students can grow from their first school year to graduation.
