College Place Public Schools Calendar 2027-2028

College Place combines the feel of a small public-school system with the educational surroundings of the Walla Walla Valley and a city long associated with higher education. Davis Elementary, John Sager Middle School and College Place High School form one clear progression. Sager and the high school share the South College Avenue campus, allowing families to remain in a familiar setting while students move into new teachers, courses, activities and graduation expectations.

College Place High uses its scale to make planning personal. The Perch serves as a career and college readiness hub where students can work through applications, scholarships, financial aid and postsecondary choices with staff support. College in the High School and other dual-credit courses allow students to begin a college transcript during the regular day. J Term creates space for concentrated experiences that expose students to subjects, careers and possibilities outside the normal semester rhythm.

Applied learning also appears in places that feel unusually concrete for a small high school. Culinary, STEM, digital arts and other CTE pathways can become graduation routes. A student credit-union program introduces banking and financial responsibility through real operations, while athletics, arts and student leadership build the social life of the Hawks community. A student can remain in a compact three-school system and still move outward through college courses, financial work, career projects and the educational institutions of the wider valley.
