Arlington Public Schools Calendar 2026-2027

Arlington’s elementary communities stretch from established city neighborhoods to Smokey Point, the Stillaguamish Valley and surrounding unincorporated areas. Eagle Creek, Kent Prairie, Pioneer and Presidents feed Haller or Post Middle School, and both routes meet at Arlington High School. A child may begin in a highly local elementary setting and later join one secondary community shaped by town growth, rural families and the Interstate 5 corridor.

Arlington High is the academic and activity center of that shared map. Career and technical education, college-connected courses and partnerships with vocational and higher-education institutions create several routes after graduation. The Byrnes Performing Arts Center gives concerts, theater and community events a districtwide home, while athletics and clubs bring students from the two middle-school communities together.

Smaller programs remain available when a comprehensive timetable does not fit. Weston High School provides an alternative secondary setting; Stillaguamish Valley Learning Center combines family-directed study with district classes and teacher support; Arlington Online and Open Doors extend the range further. These routes do not replace the neighborhood system. They let students change the pace or location of learning while retaining a connection to the same growing valley district.
