Blaine School District Calendar 2026-2027

Blaine’s main school sequence is physically concentrated: Blaine Primary, Elementary, Middle and High schools share one campus near the Canadian border. Students change institutions as they advance through the grade bands, yet the ordinary transitions occur within the same campus complex. The district also serves Birch Bay and Point Roberts, so that compact campus sits at the center of a much less compact transportation system.

Point Roberts is the defining exception. The district maintains Point Roberts Primary School in the U.S. enclave, separated by land from the rest of Washington. Older students traveling by road to Blaine pass through Canada and cross the international border four times in a school day. Transportation and border operations form part of the practical feeder path itself. A districtwide closure or schedule can affect the main campus and Point Roberts differently when road or border conditions intervene.

Blaine HomeConnection adds an Alternative Learning Experience parent-partnership program on the Blaine campus. Its enrollment and instructional plan differ from automatic placement in the primary-to-high-school ladder. Three distinct situations coexist inside the district: a co-located regular campus, a remote early-grade school in Point Roberts and a parent-partnership option. A single list of five school names cannot explain the geography that connects them.
