Wenatchee School District Calendar 2026-2027

Wenatchee Public Schools serves a Columbia River regional center through an early-childhood learning center, six elementary schools, three middle schools, Wenatchee High School and WestSide High School. More than half of the district’s students are Latino, and fruit agriculture, health care, tourism and service industries bring together long-established families and recent immigrants.

A newly arrived student may first meet the district through a newcomer program, interpreter or bilingual family support. Lewis and Clark Elementary provides the district’s Spanish-English dual-language route, while transitional bilingual and English-language-development models operate across other schools. Language access helps a child enter an appropriate course sequence and lets adults take part in enrollment, conferences and academic planning.

Wenatchee Valley Technical Skills Center gives high-school students from across the region concentrated career training. Its buildings were undergoing a major state-funded modernization during the 2025–27 biennium, with work intended to improve instructional space, accessibility and safety. Valley Academy adds a K–10 parent-partnership route for families seeking another balance of home and district learning.

After high school, the Transitions Program serves eligible students ages eighteen through twenty-one through job coaching, independent-living work and paid experience with employers such as Stemilt, Confluence Health and Albertsons. Wenatchee’s public-school continuum reaches from early childhood and newcomer entry into real adult workplaces.
