Selah School District Calendar 2026-2027

Selah organizes childhood through a sequence of districtwide age centers. Robert Lince Early Learning Center serves preschool, transitional kindergarten and kindergarten; John Campbell Primary takes grades one and two; Selah Intermediate serves grades three through five; Selah Middle covers grades six through eight; and Selah High begins in ninth grade. Students repeatedly enter a new school as an entire cohort, giving each stage a clear identity while keeping one community together.

Those repeated handoffs make family continuity a districtwide task. Selah assigns family liaisons to every age center and uses its Together We Can approach to listen to families, host shared learning and connect households with food, clothing, temporary housing, academic support, re-engagement, financial-aid guidance and language services. Spanish-speaking families can reach bilingual front-office staff across the schools, and a Migrant Parent Advisory Council helps shape services for migratory students. The office changes as a child grows, while a support network remains available across the route.

Students also reconnect across ages through common work. A recent clean-energy project paired high-school students with fifth-graders, giving older students a reason to explain technical ideas and younger students a real design problem. At the same time, a new high-school career and technical education addition began construction in summer 2026, with completion planned for 2027. It remained a building project at the August 2026 research date; the five current age centers and their family-support systems continued to govern the new school year.
