North Mason School District centers on Belfair and the lower Hood Canal, serving families from wooded rural roads and growing residential areas near the Skokomish River. Belfair and Sand Hill elementary schools feed Hawkins Middle School and North Mason High School. The Bulldog secondary community brings those early-grade groups together, while James A.
