130. Naches Valley School District

Orchard roads and mountain routes converge on Naches Valley's elementary, middle and comprehensive high schools at the foothills of Mount Clemans. The district serves more than 1,300 students living near Naches, along agricultural corridors and farther toward the Cascade passes. Weather, distance and long bus trips are part of family planning, while athletics, music, clubs and performances bring the length of the valley together around one K–12 progression.

Fruit production gives career preparation an immediate local setting. Agriculture, natural-resources and technical courses connect classroom work with orchards, equipment and the businesses that move crops from the valley to wider markets. Naches Valley High School's official resources include an Allan Brothers internship class, giving students a route into structured workplace experience with a major regional fruit company. FFA and other leadership activities carry this practical learning into public projects and competition.

College-credit opportunities let older students begin postsecondary study while remaining part of the Ranger community. Younger children grow up watching high-school students perform, compete and take visible roles, making the later stages of school familiar well before they arrive. Naches Valley High School serves as the shared endpoint for a dispersed rural population and as the place where orchard work, mountain life, college planning and technical preparation meet.

The printed note names May 7 as a conditional snow make-up day, while the snowflake appears beside the May 5 no-school cell. Both source facts are retained separately because the calendar does not resolve the conflict.
