East Valley School District No. 90 Calendar 2026-2027

East Valley School District No. 90 serves Moxee, Terrace Heights and the area east of Yakima, where hop fields, orchards and vineyards now sit beside expanding neighborhoods, Pacific Northwest University and new business development. East Valley, Moxee and Terrace Heights elementary schools feed East Valley Central Middle School and East Valley High School. The three early communities gradually become one secondary system shaped by both agriculture and the growing Yakima metropolitan area.

Spanish-English dual-language education has been part of that system since 2003. What began with about ninety-six kindergarten and first-grade students now serves roughly four hundred thirty children through eighth grade. Moxee houses the elementary entry point, and the pathway continues at East Valley Central, allowing students to build biliteracy over many years while remaining connected to the district’s ordinary schools and activities.

East Valley High has widened the choices available after those shared middle grades. International Baccalaureate courses for juniors and seniors began in 2024–25, and recent program growth has expanded agriculture and computer science, restored work-based learning and added theater and stagecraft and more sports-medicine study. ENGAGE East Valley links schools with families, businesses and community organizations around student needs and public events. A student can carry Spanish and English from elementary school into a high school where university-level study, agricultural learning, technology, performance and workplace experience reflect the changing economy east of Yakima.
