West Valley School District No. 363 (Spokane) Calendar 2026-2027

West Valley School District No. 363 serves about three thousand students in eastern Spokane Valley. Ness, Orchard Center, Pasadena Park and Seth Woodard elementary schools begin the neighborhood route, with kindergarten returning to those campuses in 2025–26 after the closure of Millwood Kindergarten Center. Centennial Middle School and West Valley City School provide middle-grade settings, and West Valley High School anchors the comprehensive high-school community.

The district also maintains smaller secondary routes. Dishman Hills High School uses personalized learning and advising, while Spokane Valley High School connects alternative education with agriculture, horticulture and natural-resource study. Across the high-school system, five career pathways link students with community and industry partners; West Valley High includes business and marketing courses, and students can also apply to NewTech Skill Center for regional training.

The Outdoor Learning Center gives the district a second public role. About 3,500 students from Spokane and neighboring counties participate in environmental programs, including H.O.O.T. presentations with live education birds. Students study raptor adaptations, ecological indicators, habitat concerns and local wildlife through close observation.

West Valley Virtual Learning Center provides a K–8 family partnership for students who need another daily arrangement. Neighborhood schools, alternative high schools, the virtual center and the regional wildlife program now sit within a recognizable district core. This full structure distinguishes Spokane’s West Valley No. 363 from the separate West Valley No. 208 in Yakima.
