Deer Park School District Calendar 2026-2027

Deer Park is growing north of Spokane, where town neighborhoods meet farms, timberland and expanding residential areas. The regular school route has four stages: Deer Park Elementary for kindergarten through second grade, Arcadia Elementary for grades three through five, Deer Park Middle School and Deer Park High School. Moving the whole cohort after second grade gives each elementary campus a distinct age community.

Agriculture and skilled work are prominent in the secondary years. FFA students compete in leadership and agricultural events, including Spanish Creed speaking, while SkillsUSA and regional career activities connect students with trades, manufacturing and employers. Local businesses and the community newspaper regularly support and publicize this work. Music, athletics and other events reinforce the schools’ role as gathering places for families spread across a broad boundary.

Home Link creates a K–12 option for families who complete much of the learning at home with district curriculum, written plans, teacher contact and scheduled opportunities in Deer Park or Clayton. It widens access without replacing the four-stage campus route. As the community grows, the district keeps younger students moving together through two elementary centers and gives older students practical links to agriculture, trades and the Spokane-area economy.
